The Beginning
The company was initiated in the name of M/S Mohan Agro Centre in 1982 as a retail fertilizer shop at Papanasam in Thanjavur District.
Growth & Expansion
Subsequently, the activities of the company shifted to Kumbakonam in 1985 and entered into whole sale fertilizer trading.
Our Product Lines:
With a view to provide the major nutrients and micro-nutrients in the form of handmade mixtures, the company started its manufacturing units at Kumbakonam in 2002.

- M/S Sunmac Agro Chemicals – Micro-nutrient mixtures
- M/S Skywin Agro Tech – Insecticides and fungicides (started 2006-2007)
Our Vision
The volume of business is approximately 100 crores. The present trend of farming is moving towards environmentally safe agriculture – keeping soil in organically healthy condition, rising crops with bio-organic manures and pesticides, and producing nontoxic food products.
Innovation & Research
To meet the need of organic input, this company started the manufacturing of Bio-derived (Organic) nutrients in both granular and water-soluble forms in 2007-2008, under the name of M/S Skywin Bio Tech.
Modern Technology
The latest technology of Drip Fertigation is helping farmers in:
- Increasing water use efficiency
- Substantial enhancement of crop productivity
- Better nutrient management
Though fertigation technique is very effective in all crops, the impact is particularly significant in Sugarcane. Normally in fertigation, major nutrients like Nitrogen and Potassium are supplied, while Phosphorous is applied as basal application.
